Shopping
There are three major shopping malls that you may wish to visit.
The Galleria in Cool Springs (10
Minutes), is a regional center with a wide variety of clothing, shoe,
jewelry
and specialty stores.
Green Hills Mall (15 Minutes) features
high end specialty stores i.e. Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Macy’s, etc.
Opry Mills (20 Minutes).
Opry Mills is a large outlet center plus Bass Pro.
The antique shops of downtown Franklin and Nashville's 8th Street South
are becoming well known haunts for the sophisticated buyer.

MISCELLANEOUS
General Jackson Showboat This paddlewheel
steamboat leaves Opry Mills and travels up the Cumberland River to
downtown Nashville and back. The General Jackson has lunch and dinner
cruises and features various entertainment acts during the year. A
delightful trip.
NashTrash Tours (as seen on the Today show)
A
humorous look at our country, southern culture and all of the sights of
Nashville.
RESTAURANTS
The Brentwood, with its central location, is convenient to the best
restaurants in the area. We have a large “menu book” so you can review
selections and prices for all types of places. We do not include menus
of any restaurant that we have not shopped and that we would not return
or recommend.
SPORTS

Nashville is the home to the NFL Titans football and the NHL Predators
ice hockey teams. Both generate good crowds.
The Iroquois Steeplechase is an annual, world renowned event.

Every May, horse lovers from around the world gather to benefit
Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
In addition, Nashville is blessed with excellent golf courses, biking
and hiking and canoeing. There is a wide range of golf from which to
select from moderate priced public golf to higher end daily fee
courses. Biking and Hiking is available at several nearby parks with
more than several thousand acres of great trails of wildlife and scenery
to explore. River canoeing is available at the Loveless Café off Hiway
100.
